Featured Jibberish: Unity in Diversity Coin

On July 10 the Russian President illustrated his call for a supranational currency to replace the dollar by pulling from his pocket a sample coin of a “united future world currency.” Here's a link for more info

On the coin is the phrase "Unity in Diversity"

World Currency .. "Unity in Diversity" .. this sounds familiar (see pages 41-42 of Shoghi Effendi's World Order of Baha'u'llah)

Ultimate Jabber 17

I intended to write a blogpost for Top Ten: Volume 1 a few days ago, because I pulled an all-nighter on Wednesday to finish it for my class. This comic rocked! It seems like anything Alan Moore touches is epic. Moore wrote Top Ten in retaliation to the comics influenced by Watchmen; Moore did not like how comics which were released after Watchmen was released used it to validate their nastiness and violence. I enjoyed it more than Watchmen even though Watchmen blew my mind.

Top Ten is a really fun comic, which has a ridiculous amounts of references to other comics and science fiction. It's cool how the story does not seem have a end, like a TV show. The characters all had unique personalities, powers, and history. It's hard to find pictures of it online. Initially I really wanted to find a picture of Gograh, but I couldn't online and don't have the resources to scan it. Then I looked for the Charlie Brown-Dr. Doom, but still no luck. I'm really considering buying the second volume, because the first is only half the story. I've also been meaning to get a scanner...

The other day I went over to Abdullah's house and we played through Undertow on Co-Op, which I got while it was free for a day (around a year ago), this game was a good game for someone who wants to put absolutely no effort into playing. It's the king of the hill from Star Wars Battlefront, except all you can do is boost fire missiles and bombs. Take a couple minutes to understand what's going on and pretty hard to see what's happening on the screen, but nonetheless, was fun for a free game. I don't think I'd buy, but I also tend to buy games sparingly (6/10). Azim and I then played Halo 3 until 7.30 AM, and now I'm officially too drained to play Halo (at least for a week when Jorge gets his Xbox back).

I have to read a comic book titled "Love and Rockets: A Girl from HOPPERS," but don't look forward to reading it at all, supposed to be realistic, which can only mean on thing: Fat Chicks, FML.
